USBC Certified Youth Leagues
Both Jr. League and High School Prep are USBC Certified youth leagues. This gives youth bowlers a more official league experience while still keeping the focus on fun, learning, and improvement.
Recognized Averages
USBC certification allows youth bowlers to build an official bowling average that can follow them as they continue in youth, school, and tournament bowling.
Rules & Structure
Certified leagues follow recognized bowling rules, helping young bowlers learn the game the right way in a fair and organized setting.
Awards & Achievement
Youth bowlers may become eligible for USBC awards and recognition as they improve, reach milestones, and grow in the sport.
Future Bowling Opportunities
Certified youth bowling can help prepare bowlers for high school bowling, tournaments, scholarship opportunities, and long-term involvement in the sport.
USBC SMART Scholarship Program
USBC youth bowling can also connect bowlers with the SMART scholarship program. SMART helps manage bowling scholarship funds and gives youth bowlers a way to use scholarship money toward future education.
As youth bowlers continue in certified leagues, tournaments, and youth bowling programs, they may have opportunities to earn scholarship funds through bowling.
